Insurance and Payment
Payment for therapy may be covered in full or in part by your insurance company. Please verify your coverage for behavioral health before we get started. It will be important to verify that outpatient (office) visits are covered under your plan, whether you have copays, whether you have a deductible that must be met before coverage begins, and whether a referral from your primary care provider or a preauthorization is required. Some insurance companies may also place a limit on the number of sessions covered per year. Infant mental health and children's therapy may be billed as individual or family therapy depending on the nature of the session.
Please verify with your insurance company that I am a network provider for your specific plan. If I am not in your network, but your insurance plan has out of network benefits, I am happy to provide you with the paperwork required to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. I am unable to provide services through Soonercare (Medicaid) at this time. I am happy to provide referrals to agencies with Soonercare providers. Please be advised that Soonercare does not pay for any out of network benefits.

If you do not have insurance or prefer not to bill services through your insurance, private pay hourly rates are also available and can be paid by cash, check, credit or debit card, or through your flexible spending account for healthcare.

Payment is due at the time of service. There will be a fee for any no-shows or late cancellations. We will discuss these and other policies prior to beginning our work together. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
